Koskenkorva Salmiakki is a delicious liqueur made with the famous sweet and salty candy known as ‘salmiakki’ in Finnish. Did you know that when Koskenkorva Salmiakki was introduced to the Finnish market in 1990 it was banned shortly after by the government monopoly because it was selling too well!

How it is Made

Koskenkorva Salmiakki is made from vodka distilled in the Koskenkorva village and then mixed with crystal clear glacial spring water and the best available ingredients.

What it tastes like

Rich and full-bodied flavor of salty liquorice.

How to use

Most commonly enjoyed as a chilled shot but the sweet and salty combination works also well in various cocktails. Try mixing it with hot chocolate or milk-based drinks. Tip for after-ski: goes well along with beer!
