SUSTAINABILITY AT KOSKENKORVA

At our Koskenkorva Distillery, we have used 100% renewable electricity from wind power since 2023. We also use bioenergy for steam production in Anora’s bioenergy plant at Koskenkorva, which utilizes barley husks, a distillation by-product, as its fuel source. Distillery’s remaining fossil-fuel-fired steam boiler will be replaced with a state-of-the art fossil-free biomassboiler, which will allow us to reach zero fossil emissions at the distillery during 2026, without carbon compensations. The distillery operates based on the principles of circular economy: 100% of the grain is utilised. In 2025, distillery's waste recycling rate was 99.6%.

Koskenkorva is part of Anora Group and is included in Anora’s sustainability reporting. Read more at Anora.com.

ZUTATEN
